Whether singing an up-tempo tune or a moving ballad, she effortlessly captures the flavour of the best vocalists of the 1920s and 30s - Annette Hanshaw, Bessie Smith or Billie Holiday, to name a few. Her drumming is no less exciting and appropriate for the band, and she can even do both at once!
