 Bass player Richard Mander has not been playing jazz as long as some of the other members of the RHR – he took up the instrument after meeting drummer Sandra Talty, now his wife! His remarkable progress on bass is only matched by his mastery of the tuba, which he seemed to learn almost overnight to vary the Red Hot Rhythmakers’ sound. A lover of fine food, wine and music.
